Acupuncture is a technique in which practitioners insert fine, sterile needles into the skin to treat health conditions. Acupuncture is commonly used for the treatment of acute and chronic pain, but is also effective in the treatment of a wide variety of ailments, including respiratory, digestive, urinary, menstrual/hormonal, anxiety, depression and more. Most patients experience a deep sense of well-being following treatment, and often feel relaxed enough to sleep during sessions.

Massage Therapy

A 60 minute massage therapy session is intended to bring relief from everyday muscle aches and pains. A deep tissue massage can provide treatment for injuries, reduce stress, improve blood circulation and reduce pain. A series of treatments or maintenance sessions may be needed to ensure lasting results.

I was born and raised in Northern California and moved to Seattle in 2003, in search of cooler and more mountainous horizons. I was first licensed as a Massage Therapist in 2004 and began working at a practice in Bellevue where we, as a collective, specialized in injury treatment and rehabilitation. My desire to expand as a practitioner lead me to pursue a degree at Bastyr University. I graduated in 2013 with a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Since then, I have maintained a successful Acupuncture and Massage Therapy practice in West Seattle. Presently, my search for peace and tranquility has brought me to Vashon Island. I feel very lucky to be here and I look forward to serving the Vashon community.
